Claire Noyce, Managing Partner, Corporate Finance
Claire, Hybridan’s founding partner and CEO, was previously at Nomura in the UK Small Cap Life Sciences and Technology Sales and Trading team, where she sold equities to UK and Continental European investors. The team was broker and Nomad to around 20 corporate clients. Prior to joining Nomura, Claire was an equity analyst at Lazard, with a significant involvement in IPOs and capital market transactions. Claire started her career as an analyst and consultant at Datamonitor. Claire is on the Board of the Quoted Companies Alliance as a non executive Director. Claire has a Double Honours Degree from Manchester University, where she also undertook some postgraduate studies. Claire is a mentor at Manchester University. She is fluent in French and German, and actively involved in a number of groups and government initiatives to empower women in the workforce and on Boards.
Darshan Patel, Analyst, Corporate Finance
Darshan graduated from The University of Huddersfield with a B.A. Hons in Business Management and Finance in 2014. He has held a variety of part-time positions during his academic career, from bartending at Leicester City Football Club, a crowd management & safety steward and a team leader for a catering company. Darshan is also a member of the Corporate Governance Expert group of the Quoted Companies Alliance.

Niall Pearson, Director and Head of Corporate Broking & Sales
Niall has an extensive network of small cap investors, covering a range of industries and geographies. Prior to joining the City at Keith Bayley Rogers, Niall worked for an investor relations consultancy covering the resources sector where he worked with a number of AIM companies to help raise their profile amongst institutional and private client investors.
John Beresford-Peirse, Corporate Broking and Sales
John has over a decade of broking experience, primarily in UK markets, and previously worked at Loeb Aron & Co., Westhouse Securities and Jefferies International. He has helped numerous companies in sectors such as natural resources, transport, technology and capital goods to raise equity capital and broaden their investor base. John has a wide network of investor contacts, including institutions, hedge funds, family offices, high net worth individuals and private client brokers.
Miles Cox, Corporate Broking and Sales
Miles graduated from The University of Hertfordshire with a 1st Class B.A. Hons in Finance in 2018. He previously worked in Edinburgh for Lloyds Banking Group and has held a variety of part-time positions during his academic career, from being a waiter at Wagamama to a sales representative for Herbalife.
Derren Nathan, Research and Corporate Broking
Derren has over a decade’s experience of broking and researching smaller quoted companies. He has had exposure to nearly every sector at some stage, and also had an 18 month spell as an analyst on a prominent Leisure sector desk. He continues to be amazed at the energy and innovation found in entrepreneurial businesses but realises this must be coupled with prudence and operational excellence to satisfy investors. Prior to working in equities Derren spent several years in the Investment Funds Group at PwC having started his career at a leading insolvency practice, a helpful introduction to how not to run a business.
Arild Eide, Director and Consultant
Arild has an established reputation in investment management and is well placed to understand institutional and high net worth investors seeking small cap opportunities. Arild has experience in security analysis, institutional fund management and portfolio strategy at Morgan Stanley Quilter, Morgan Grenfell, Deutsche Asset Management and Alfred Berg and most recently was a Senior Fund Manager at RAB Capital for 4 years. Arild is a CFA charterholder. He is a generalist, but has a specific interest in technology, life sciences and resources.
