The technology Company developing intellectual property (IP) in the quantum computing sector announced a Research Sponsorship and exclusive Technology Licensing Agreement with Penn State University in Pennsylvania, USA. Penn State's recent published work includes structures and methods for quantum computing using gold, which aligns closely with Delta's research at the University of Toronto. The Agreement forms part of Delta's long-term strategy to build a global centre of excellence and a world-class portfolio in quantum materials research across leading universities. Delta Gold will sponsor a first year research programme estimated to be up to USD $997,142 which will be paid to Penn State on a cost reimbursement basis. The research will extend existing work on gold-based quantum technologies with the aim of generating valuable IP. The total cost reimbursable contract is for up to USD $2,991,426 over three years. Delta will pay Penn State a running royalty of one percent on Net Sales of licensed products once cumulative Net Sales exceed $20m.

The European-based biotechnology Company focused on the development of gene therapies for age-related diseases announced positive preliminary interim results from its SLAB (Sarcopenia and Longevity in Aged Beagles) clinical trial evaluating its proprietary SIRT6 centenarian gene therapy in aged dogs. The randomised, blinded study, conducted by an independent contract research organisation, enrolled 24 beagle dogs aged over 10 years who were allocated to four groups: two naked DNA treatment cohorts at different dose levels, a single-dose AAV8 cohort, and a control group. All treatment groups demonstrated superior survival compared to the control group during the dosing period. No adverse events were observed, and all treatment modalities exhibited a favourable safety and tolerability profile suitable for use in aged companion animals.

The Pinon Canyon Plant is scheduled for integrated plant operations next week, with the amine unit operational in removing CO2 from the input gas stream. Sales arrangements have been made for spot sales of helium, and discussions regarding long-term contracts with both helium and CO2 off-takers progressing well.
Inspiration Healthcare Group 18.50p £15.47m (IHC.L)
The medical technology Company pioneering best-in-class, specialist neonatal intensive care medical devices updates on Trading for the FY January 2026. Revenues in H2 increased 10.3% to £23.5m and the Company has reported 24% FY growth to £47.5m. There is a new multi-year purchasing agreement signed with one of the largest hospital networks in the US, so sales momentum is expected to continue into FY27. The adjusted EBITDA is set to be in line with market expectations for £2.8m. The net debt was reduced by 39% to £5.1m having achieved significant reductions in inventory and receivables under the 'Back to Basics' strategy. The solid pipeline of opportunities gives the CEO confidence in the 2027’s outcome.

The Company engaging in neuroscience imaging and biomarker analytics using its AI-driven platform to help advance drug development in neurological disorders today announced the extension of an existing contract with an international pharmaceutical company following the continued progress of a Phase 2 clinical trial in Huntington's Disease. The contract extension is worth an additional c.£1.5m in revenues to IXICO over the next three years.

This new project is with a South Korean clinical stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the development of next-generation antibody drug conjugate and Immuno-oncology therapeutic for the treatment of cancer. Under the terms of the contract, Physiomics will use PK/PD modelling and simulation techniques to support dosing decisions for one of the client's clinical stage assets. The project, valued at up to £66,600, will commence immediately with completion anticipated within the next two months.
Sancus Lending Group Ltd 1.20p £9.77m (LEND.L)
The finance provider announced it has entered into definitive legal agreements to increase the size, and extend the maturity, of its existing credit facility with Pollen Street Capital, following a strong year of lending growth across its UK and Ireland businesses. Under the revised terms, the size of the facility has been increased from £200m to £300m, with the tenor extended such that it will now mature no earlier than 11th February 2031, providing at least five years of committed funding from the date of the agreed terms.
