Blackbird 1.20p £5.28m (BIRD.L)

The technology licensor, developer and seller of market-leading cloud native video editing platform, Blackbird, and developer of the online collaborative video editing and content creation platform, elevate.io, today provides an update on elevate.io, its browser-based collaborative video editing platform. Since resuming marketing spending in mid-July 2026, and as a result of improved conversion metrics, net paid elevate.io subscriber growth has accelerated sharply in August 2026. In its last update to investors (issued in May 2026), the Company confirmed that its elevate.io Go to Market (GTM) strategy had been deployed. The GTM has included some modest marketing expenditure since mid-July 2026 and this has resulted in an increase in conversion rates of free users to paid subscribers from less than 1.0% to 2.67% in August 2026, reflecting the benefits of the product refinements implemented this year; as well as a 65% decrease in customer acquisition costs, indicating the effectiveness of the Company's marketing strategy for elevate.io. Since March 2026, the Company has seen a 75% increase in paid subscribers to 696 at the end August 2026.

East Star Resources 7p £38.5m (EST.L)

The Kazakhstan-focused gold and copper exploration and development Company announced the results of the induced polarisation survey from the Snowy Epithermal Target in Central Kazakhstan. These lines are approximately 1km east of the IP lines completed in 2025. This area shows a distinct east-west striking chargeability trend associated with a volcanic unit being targeted for an epithermal deposit. The anomaly is discrete, spanning approximately 1,700m west to east starting from 100m depth. The amplitude is plausible for low sulphidation epithermal targets and requires further exploration to determine the source of the chargeability anomaly and test the quartz veining at depth.

Frontier Developments 440.00p £145.14m (FDEV.L)

The Cambridge-based developer and publisher of video games announced that it has entered into an agreement with Disney to develop and publish a new game which will draw on Disney's iconic portfolio of IP. The game will be fully funded by Frontier and will build upon the Company's extensive experience and proven capabilities as a leader in the Creative Management Simulation genre; which includes the genre-leading Planet Coaster, Planet Zoo, and Jurassic World Evolution franchises, as well as an unannounced Planet game currently in development.

Gem Diamonds Limited 9.10p £8.75m (GEMD.L)

The producer of high value diamonds reported results for the half year ended 30 June. The revenue increased to US$59.7m together with the cost containment initiatives implemented in July 2025 and the extended royalty relief which resulted in an improved underlying EBITDA of US$8.6m (H1 2025: negative underlying EBITDA of US$2.6m). The Group's net debt position improved by US$19.6m to US$0.5m from 31 December 2025: US$20.1m, while the Group's revolving credit facilities expire in December 2026. Discussions with lenders regarding the renewal or extension of these facilities are underway. On the production side, Ore tonnes treated were 2.6m (H1 2025: 2.5m) and waste mining decreased by 82% to 0.3m tonnes compared to 1.7m tonnes in H1 2025. Production volumes are in line with Letšeng's planned production and long-term mine plan to maintain annual ore throughput of c. 5.0m tonnes. The Company's production and cost forecasts for FY2026 remain in line with guidance.

Kazera Global 1.95p £21.51m (KZG.L)

The investment Company has agreed terms for the full and final settlement of amounts claimed by Fujax South Africa Ltd under the prepayment arrangements entered into with the Company's subsidiary, Whale Head Minerals Ltd, in December 2024. Following this positive development and the grant of the Mining Right over Sea Concession 2A, as announced by the Company on 2 September 2026, the Board is also considering an equity fundraising of a minimum of £500k to further strengthen the Company's balance sheet and provide additional financial flexibility in relation to potential new investments in the critical minerals space. In connection with the Proposed Fundraising, the Company has decided to utilise a Capital Access Window introduced recently in the updated AIM Rules for Companies. Accordingly, the Company has requested the temporary suspension of trading in the  ordinary shares in the capital of the Company with effect from 7.30 a.m. today.

Rockfire Resources 0.11p £11.20m (ROCK.L)

The base metal, critical mineral and precious metal exploration Company provided an update of activities from the Company's 100%-owned Molaoi zinc deposit in Greece. Diamond drilling recommenced on schedule after the summer vacation and hole HMO-021 remains in progress. The preliminary results from the comminution test work have been received from SLR Consulting, with the result measuring the Molaoi ore as 'Medium-Hard' with a Drop Weight Index of 8.66 kWh/t. Semi-Autogenous Grinding mills typically draw anywhere from 6 kWh/t to 12 kWh/t of energy to grind the rock. The Molaoi ore energy requirement sits well within the standard energy consumption range for global mining projects. Rockfire has had an update from Epiroc regarding the arrival of Rockfire's own drilling rig with the rig expected slightly behind schedule, with arrival in Athens due at the end of October/early November 2026.

Synectics 195.00p £34.25m (SNX.L)

The player in advanced security, surveillance and operational intelligence solutions announces that Ocular Integration, the Company's wholly owned systems integration business, has secured contracts with an aggregate value of £1.4m to provide on-vehicle surveillance technology for 220 new buses being introduced by a UK regional authority. The contracts cover the supply of a combination of advanced camera technology, digital mirror systems and on-vehicle video surveillance across the new fleet. The solutions are designed to enhance driver visibility, reduce vehicle blind spots and provide comprehensive video coverage to support passenger and road safety. More than half of the vehicles will also be connected to Synectics' Transport Cloud Services, providing operators with rapid access to critical video and operational data. This enables incidents, claims and disputes to be investigated and resolved more quickly, helping to reduce operational disruption and associated financial risk.

Talon Resources 1.35p £7.40m (TAR.L)

The North American gold exploration Company announced that its maiden diamond drilling campaign has commenced at the Eagle Lake gold project in Ontario, Canada. The first hole is being drilled at East Fornieri Bay, the programme's highest-priority target, where Phase 1 channel sampling returned 4.80m @ 4.47 g/t Au including 1.0m @ 19.10 g/t Au and 1.85m @ 7.17 g/t Au including 0.50m @ 24.40 g/t Au. The maiden programme comprises 11 diamond drill holes totalling 1,375m across five pads at four target areas: East Fornieri Bay, West Fornieri Bay, Cedar Trench and Moss Knoll. The programme is fully funded and is being managed by Critical Discoveries Corp., with Rodren Drilling Ltd. as drilling contractor. Assay results are expected following programme completion and will be reported in batches as they are received.

Zinc Media Group 57.50p £16.87m (ZIN.L)

The television, brand and audio production Group announced that it has been commissioned to produce a 90-minute feature film for an institution in the Middle East, with a contract value of $6.1m. Revenue is expected to be recognised across the current and next financial year. The film is a one of the largest single productions the Group has undertaken in the region. Zinc will lead on all aspects of the production delivery. The client and the nature of the work remain confidential ahead of the film's public release. The award confirms Zinc as a production partner of choice for large institutions commissioning film at scale, and builds on the Group's 20-year track record in the region through The Edge in Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Together with Zinc's more recent expansion into long-form content, television production and events in the region, it materially supports the Group's stated ambition to double Middle East turnover over the next three years.
